Welcome to the Middle Georgia Chapter of AFCEA
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association

The AFCEA Middle Georgia Chapter (MGC) serves the needs of Communications and Electronics Professionals throughout Central Georgia, including Robins Air Force Base. We strive to further the goals of AFCEA membership through professional development activities, scholarship and education initiatives, and a growing network of friends and associates.

August 3 - Update your bookmarks, http://middle-georgia.afceachapter.org/ will be our new location.

July 14 - There are a few issues related to the renewal of our domain name. At this time we are not sure how long this will last.

May 13 - The scholarship deadline has been extended to June 9 to ensure people have an opportunity to apply for a scholarship.

May 5 - Unfortunately, the AFCEA MGC golf tournament has had to be postponed indefinitely. When we are able to offer this, we will let you know. Also, the scholarship deadline of May 13 is coming in a little over a week for interested college students.

April 25 - We posted some initial information regarding the upcoming election in June to fill vacancies on the Executive Council. If you are interested in helping out, go here.

April 8 - Scholarship information has been revised! Scholarship award amounts have been raised to $750 each, which will help to defray those expensive higher learning costs. Also, we clarified that students with any major are eligible for AFCEA MGC's scholarships. There's still plenty of time until our May 13 deadline, so go ahead and take a look at our scholarship information and send in a package!

April 7 - The networking luncheon has been postponed from April 22 to April 29 due to a scheduling conflict.

March 26 - The first phase of the Fiber for Communities project has ended. We will post further updates on what Google will do on the official Fiber 4 Middle Georgia site and here.
